Term 1 draws to a close

11 days to go
8 exams
4 more days of classes
2 submissions left
1 excited/ exhausted/ enervated/ enthused/ energized/ engaged/ engrossed/ enlightened fachchi

We've almost made it through first term at wimwi. Its like someone suddenly floored the brake pedal, forcing you to stop for about two minutes and reflect on it. Its not enough to gain any sort of perspective, but i know it has been fun. Its been a learning experience. And its been hard at some points of time.

Strangely, for those two minutes, you remember the person you were last year. Preparing for CAT, hanging out with friends, living at home. And you know you've changed permanently in so many small ways. You've done a lot of things you wouldn't have earlier. You've somehow "grown up".

And yet, for all that change, you're still the same lil girl. Who can't wait to go home and hog on mom's cooking, stay up all night talking to the three most important people in your life, and drink hot cocoa before bed.

Growing old is mandatory, Growing up is an option

Hi, I dunno if you know me. Probably not, heh..But I'm Vinod's classmate, and we used to team up for all possible symposia that were conducted at SVCE. Another tenuous connection would be that Anand of your class is my colleague here in Verizon.

Anyways, coming to the point [after meandering for a really long time, I know...damn I just did it again :)], it just struck me you've put O for Oman. Why? You studied there for a while? If so, where? When?

Great Feeling..that 1st term at IIM Ahmedabad is going to end...Even though the term break is short..it is one of the best feelings when you complete the 8th exam and head off home...

Well...For a Tuccha..the term started does not mean anything..but yeah! back from chennai and its comforts to the comforts of Vastrapur(Though the first two days of the term are tough..without the filter coffee...Hindu Chennai Edition...and of course Radio Mirchi Suchi..:))

All the best for the final 100 metres of the last lap...

suze,

Although i am new to blogging, there is something essentialy quaint about your blog that set it apart from the myriad boiler plate blogs that seem to flood the internet. yours strikes a cord with the reader. i think largely because of the emotional coefficient; you prefer to speak from the heart, never trying to be funny and always always keeping it simple. the product, a blog befitting a person of gilt-edged credentials.

Congrats. will visit this place often!
