Tea Time

I've tried tetra pack milk instead of milk powder, eight different kinds of tea bags, and recently have taken to using three tea bags per cup.

My tea still tastes like old dishwashing liquid.

8 different types of dishwashers..oops i mean teabags means u have to try out 56 combinations (assuming u take three teabags everytime) before u can be sure that the right combination will never happen.

now if u try out 2 combinations everyday u will manage all combinations in 28 days.So in 28 days time you can tell us if 3 any trhee teabag combination will or will not work.If it does not you can move onto 4 teabag combinations :-)

For besht tashte - quit using tea bags. Boil the milk with the tea flakes in it...and filter. This gives besht color, tashte and flavor (As they say in the 3roses commercial - Ippo irukku Niram, Suvai, Dhidam!)

well actually, tea made the way you make it, in a kettle can never match up to the one you make at home where it is boiled and brewed just right with fresh milk. But you can try taj tea bags. they do make a difference.
and here's a better procedure to make tea when you cant help using tea bags [it worked for me]: use very hot water, dissolve the sugar first, then dip the tea bag. Add milk powder last.
About trying out various dishwashing liquids, now thats an interesting topic. You see after 28 days you will probably be writing another blog entry about your new improved formulation. You'll still have it competing against dawn and ivory....:)

Have you tried it without adding any milk or milk powder? (It might take some getting used to, but at least the tea taste comes through.)
